Product Description
Display PCB Manufacturing Microelectronics Rinse Water Veolia MK-5 Suez EDI Stacks 5.0 M3/H Low TOC
Flat panel display lines, PCB plating shops and component cleaning stations rinse parts with ultrapure water at every process step. A single ionic residue on a glass substrate or copper trace can cause spotting, corrosion or electrical failure later in the product life. The Veolia MK-5 Suez EDI stack, known in earlier generations as the E-Cell-3X, polishes reverse osmosis permeate to 16 MOhm-cm or better at a nominal 5.0 m3/h, providing the consistent rinse water quality that yield-focused factories demand.
The MK-5 combines the 3X platform throughput with the low maintenance of the E-Cell electrodeionization design. There is no mixed-bed resin vessel to truck chemicals to, no neutralization pit, and no regeneration downtime. The stack polishes continuously while the factory runs, and its low TOC output protects the delicate surfaces that come into contact with the water.
Key Features- Proven 3X platform: the MK-5 succeeds the widely installed E-Cell-3X, keeping the same 5.0 m3/h class performance with the latest electrode and spacer technology.
- Microelectronics water quality: product resistivity of at least 16 MOhm-cm with TOC below 0.5 ppm supports critical rinse and cleaning applications.
- High recovery: up to 97% of the feed water is recovered, reducing the size of upstream RO and the cost of wastewater treatment.
- Chemical-free regeneration: electrical regeneration eliminates acid and caustic logistics, storage tanks and hazardous waste streams from the cleanroom utility area.
- Stable continuous output: the stack runs without regeneration cycles, so rinse water quality does not dip while a mixed bed would be taken offline.
- Flexible installation: the compact stack footprint allows horizontal or vertical manifold arrangements inside water treatment rooms and mezzanines.
- Full quality certification: CE, RoHS, CSA and EAC marked, manufactured in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities.

Display panel fabs use MK-5 stacks in the central ultrapure water plant serving glass cleaning, wet etch and developer rinse stations. PCB manufacturers apply the same technology to plating line rinses, where ionic purity prevents dull deposits and micro-corrosion on copper circuitry.
The stack is equally at home in connector plating, LED packaging and precision optics cleaning lines. Where multiple rinse loops with different flow demands exist, MK-5 stacks are grouped in a duty-assist arrangement that follows the production schedule automatically.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceEach MK-5 stack is pressure tested and performance verified before packing in a reinforced wooden crate with foam inserts suitable for sea freight. Delivery of stock units takes 5-8 working days; the shipment includes the certificate of conformity, operating manual and commissioning checklist.
Our application engineers help you select stack count, recirculation configuration and polishing loop design, and provide ongoing support to keep your ultrapure water plant within specification. Send your flow requirement and water quality target for a detailed quotation.
