Product Description
Beverage Processing Food Grade Purified Water Veolia E-Cell MK-3 Suez EDI Stacks 3.4 M3/H
Soft drinks, juices, tea beverages and sports drinks are formulated with water whose mineral profile is tightly controlled. The Veolia E-Cell MK-3 Suez EDI stack removes dissolved ions from reverse osmosis permeate electrically, producing stable purified water at a nominal 3.4 m3/h so that every batch tastes and performs the same, shift after shift.
Food and beverage plants value the MK-3 because it eliminates the storage, handling and neutralization of sulfuric acid and caustic soda used by conventional mixed-bed demineralizers. The stack operates continuously and regenerates itself with nothing more than electric current, reducing chemical inventories, operator training and effluent treatment cost at the same time.
Key Features- Chemical-free operation: no acid or caustic regeneration is needed, which removes hazardous chemical storage from your plant and simplifies environmental permits.
- Stable product quality: purified water resistivity of at least 16 MOhm-cm with sodium below 3 ppb and silica as low as 5 ppb keeps beverage formulation consistent.
- Up to 96% recovery: the counter-current flow design uses feed water efficiently and lowers the load on upstream reverse osmosis equipment.
- Compact and light: a 100 kg stack measuring 30 x 61 x 54 cm fits easily into existing treatment rooms and skid layouts.
- Safe polar water separation: separate discharge of electrode water eliminates leak paths and makes the module safer to operate.
- Simplified system design: no brine injection and no concentrate recirculation loop reduce piping, valves and control complexity.
- Internationally certified: CE, UL and CSA certified modules manufactured under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality systems.

Typical installations include purified water loops for beverage formulation, flavor and concentrate dilution, syrup production and CIP support water in food plants. The MK-3 also polishes water for retort and boiler systems where deposit-free steam is required for direct food contact heating.
Breweries, dairies and sauce producers use the same stack when their water treatment consultant specifies deionized water with high resistivity and low organic load. Because several MK-3 stacks can be combined, the design scales from 3 to 30 m3/h without changing the water chemistry approach.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceEach MK-3 stack leaves the factory pressure tested and performance verified, then is packed in a reinforced wooden crate with foam cushioning sized for ocean containers. Stock units ship within 5-8 working days; the documentation pack includes the certificate of conformity, installation manual and recommended operating parameters.
Our engineers provide free system sizing and Winflows projection validation before you purchase, and ongoing technical support after delivery. Send us your raw water report and target flow to receive a complete beverage water treatment proposal.
