Product Description
The 2000 LPH EDI-Based Ultrapure Water Purification System is an advanced water purification solution combining Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Electrodeionization (EDI) technologies to continuously produce high-quality ultrapure water.
With a production capacity of 2,000 liters per hour, the system integrates multiple purification processes including pretreatment filtration, RO desalination, and EDI polishing. This combination provides efficient removal of dissolved salts, ions, and impurities while eliminating the need for chemical regeneration.
EDI technology uses an electric field, ion exchange membranes, and ion exchange resin to continuously remove ionized contaminants from water. Unlike conventional ion exchange systems, the EDI process does not require acid or alkali regeneration chemicals, providing a cleaner and more sustainable ultrapure water production method.
- Multi-stage purification for high-quality water production
- RO removes dissolved salts and major impurities
- EDI further polishes water to ultrapure quality
- Stable water quality for critical applications
- No acid or caustic regeneration required
- Reduced chemical consumption
- No hazardous regeneration waste
- Continuous automatic operation
- Integrated treatment configuration
- Easy installation and maintenance
- Flexible system expansion capability
- Produces water quality up to 18 MΩ·cm resistivity
- Stable ion removal performance
- Suitable for demanding high-purity water applications

Electrodeionization (EDI) is a continuous ultrapure water purification technology that combines:
- Electrodialysis technology
- Ion exchange technology
- Ion-selective membranes
- Ion exchange resin
Under a direct current electric field, dissolved ions migrate through selective membranes and are continuously removed from the water stream.
At the same time, hydrogen ions and hydroxide ions generated from water splitting regenerate the ion exchange resin automatically, allowing continuous operation without traditional chemical regeneration.
- Purified water systems
- Laboratory water preparation
- High-purity process water
- Semiconductor cleaning
- Precision manufacturing water
- Component production processes
- Boiler feedwater treatment
- High-purity makeup water
- Cosmetics manufacturing
- Research laboratories
- Industrial ultrapure water systems
The 2000 LPH EDI-Based Ultrapure Water Purification System provides an efficient and environmentally friendly solution for industries requiring continuous high-purity water production.
By combining RO desalination with advanced EDI polishing technology, the system delivers reliable performance, reduced chemical consumption, and simplified operation for pharmaceutical, electronics, laboratory, and industrial applications.
