Product Description
Textile Dyeing Wastewater Reuse DOW UF Membranes SFP-2660 / SFD-2660 PVDF Module 33 m2 0.03 um
Textile dyeing and finishing plants consume up to several hundred cubic meters of water per ton of fabric, and increasingly strict discharge rules make in-plant recycling the most economical compliance path. Membrane bioreactors and RO-based reuse trains need a dependable pretreatment step to remove residual color colloids, size residues and suspended solids. The DOW UF membrane SFP-2660 / SFD-2660 module performs this duty with a compact 33 m2 PVDF fiber bundle that fits the tight machine rooms of dye houses.
The SFP-2660 operates outside-in with dead end flow, drawing water through the fiber wall while suspended matter accumulates on the outer surface for easy removal by backwash. Its 0.03 um pores stop particles, bacteria and macromolecular dye carriers, producing filtrate with SDI below 2.5 that is safe for downstream reverse osmosis membranes.
Key Features- Compact 33 m2 module: the 6-inch format suits small and medium treatment trains, allowing stepwise capacity growth as dye house production expands.
- Anti-fouling hydrophilic fiber: the PVDF surface resists organic and dyestuff fouling, keeping flux stable between chemical cleanings.
- Protects downstream RO: 0.03 um filtration with SDI below 2.5 extends RO membrane life and reduces antiscalant and cleaning chemical use.
- Low energy operation: dead end filtration at moderate transmembrane pressure minimizes pumping power per cubic meter of treated water.
- Automatic air scour and backwash: the module supports air scour flow up to 12 Nm3/hr, keeping the fiber bundle clean in high-load textile effluent.
- Wide chemical tolerance: operating pH 2-11 permits aggressive caustic and chlorine cleaning to recover flux after heavy organic fouling.
- Certified quality: manufactured under ISO 9001 with NSF and CE certification, matching the requirements of export projects.

| Typical Feed | Secondary clarifier effluent of dyeing wastewater |
In a typical textile water reuse train, the SFP-2660 modules filter biologically treated dyeing effluent before it enters RO. The UF step removes residual suspended solids, colloids and biological floc so the RO can run at high recovery, and the recycled permeate is returned to dyeing, washing and rinsing machines. This configuration routinely achieves 60 to 75 percent water recycling in denim, knit and print dye houses.
The module is equally suited to yarn dyeing effluent, finishing plant wastewater and fabric washing water reuse projects. Our team helps textile plants choose between horizontal and vertical rack layouts and designs the automatic backwash and CIP sequence around the actual effluent quality.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceEvery SFP-2660 / SFD-2660 module is delivered wet, sealed and individually packed with end caps and export carton, together with the factory integrity certificate and installation guide. Stock units are available within 5-8 working days, and larger project orders are scheduled with confirmed lead times.
