Product Description
Designed for use in mixed-bed applications for condensate polishing in both nuclear (PWR) and fossil power plants, as well as for industrial water demineralization.
AmberLite™ HPR650 H is a high-quality, high-capacity cation exchange resin. It is a strong acid cation exchange gel resin with sulfonic acid functional groups and a styrene-divinylbenzene matrix.
This resin is known for its uniform particle size, excellent mechanical strength, and oxidative stability, making it ideal for high-flowrate applications. Formerly marketed as Dowex Monosphere 650C, it complies with FDA regulation 21 CFR 173.25 for use as a food additive.

- Recommended Pairings:
- AmberLite™ HPR550 OH Ion Exchange Resin (gel)
- AmberLite™ HPR9000 OH Ion Exchange Resin (macroporous)
- Additional Options:
- AmberLite™ HPR550 Cl Ion Exchange Resin (gel)
- AmberLite™ HPR9000 SO₄ Ion Exchange Resin (macroporous)
- Mixed bed condensate polishing in PWR nuclear power plants
- Mixed bed condensate polishing in fossil fuel power plants
- Mixed bed polishing in industrial demineralization systems
AmberLite™ HPR650 H Ion Exchange Resin was previously sold as DOWEX MONOSPHERE™ 650C (H) Ion Exchange Resin.
