Reverse osmosis desalination technology is an advanced technology that removes salt and impurities from seawater through a semipermeable membrane to obtain fresh water. In recent years, with the increasing global water shortage problem, reverse osmosis technology has received widespread attention due to its unique advantages.
1. High desalination rate
The core of reverse osmosis technology lies in the semipermeable membrane it uses. This membrane has extremely high selective permeability and can effectively block impurities such as salt, heavy metal ions, and organic matter in seawater, while only allowing water molecules to pass through. Therefore, reverse osmosis desalination technology can achieve an extremely high desalination rate, generally reaching more than 95%, or even higher. This means that the water quality of seawater treated by this technology can approach or reach the national drinking water standards.
2. Low energy consumption
Compared with traditional distillation desalination technology, reverse osmosis technology has significant advantages in energy consumption. The distillation method requires a lot of heat energy to heat the seawater and evaporate it, while reverse osmosis technology mainly relies on pressure difference to drive water molecules through the semipermeable membrane. Therefore, reverse osmosis technology has lower energy consumption and is more energy-saving and efficient.

HAFE-FG Water Technologies has focused on the research of water treatment technology, equipment development and manufacturing, testing and international shipment etc. We work with many leading large-scale or small-medium original equipment manufacturers in China High-tech Development Zones, and engaged ourselves in R&D, manufacturing, and quality testing.
