What is RO water plant ?
RO water purifier, also known as reverse osmosis (RO) water purifier, is a device that uses reverse osmosis membrane technology for water treatment. Its working principle is to remove impurities, heavy metals, bacteria and viruses in the water by applying pressure to make water molecules pass through a semi-permeable membrane, thereby producing pure water.
Working principle
The core of the RO water purifier is the reverse osmosis membrane, which has a very small pore size, only one millionth of a hair, and can block most impurities and heavy metals, and only water molecules can pass through. When the raw water passes through the reverse osmosis membrane, the solvent (water molecules) will flow against the direction of natural osmosis, so that pure water is obtained on the low-pressure side of the membrane, and the concentrated solution is discharged on the high-pressure side.
