ELECTRODEIONIZATION WATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS for Lab., Sanitary injection or boiler feed
Electrodeionization is a water treatment technology that uses electricity, ion exchange membranes, and resins to deionize water and separate dissolved ions (impurities) from the water. It differs from other water purification technologies in that it does not require the use of chemical treatment, typically the polishing process of reverse osmosis (RO). There are also EDI units, often called continuous electrodeionization (CEDI) because the electrical current continuously regenerates the resin mass. CEDI technology can achieve very high purities, with conductivity values below 0.1 µS/cm.
